Car port project currently under construction attached to side of house, 8.5m long x 3.6m wide span. 7 degree roof pitch. Joists @ 600 ctrs. As I am going with 110 x 18 t&g boards with EPDM over I believe that noggins are not required. Thoughts ?

I'd put them at 1/3 spans for this. They will need to be under the board joints in any case.

Thanks for replies. This is the look I am after hence the T&G board. More work obviously but happy to do so.
Boards are 119 x 19 x 4.2m treated. Joints will be on joists.
Just thought that with each T&G board nailed twice to each joist at 600mm ctrs that noggins would not be needed.

1 row of noggins down the middle done and dusted this afternoon. Makes some difference to the stability of the joists. Thanks for replies.
