Do I need planning permission

I am propposing 2.4 extension however it is attached to an existing extension. However the existing extension didn’t project rear elevation further. Do I need planniing? Please see image

You are effectively proposing a wrap-around, which will need PP.

Your proposed extension joins with a previous extension, making it a full width wrap-around, which is not allowed under PD.

Apply for planning for a proper 4m extension, I don't see the obsession with trying to get things under PD for the sake of a 200odd quid planning fee

Ours is not to reason why. The rear extension can only be from the original house under PD.

Best to just get planning.
