Do I need to use an inhibitor??

I recently had problems with my expansion vessel and my PRV. I am assuming because I ve at to keep on topping the system up with water all the time this couldn't have been good for the system.

Do you think I should add a inhibitor to the system? is there a simple test I could do to see if I have enough inhibitor in the system.

Also, how can I tell when I need to flush the system?
