Dodgy leaking condense pipe elbow?

Just looking for some thought and advice here on the pipe. It's got a small but persistent leak. Is there a compound I can apply externally to stop the leaks or is it best I try and disassemble the joint and fit a new elbow. It seems the plumber used some sort of plastic weld and I'm not sure how I'd disassemble it.

Solvent weld pipe. That's plastic pipe and glue and very easy to do.
Your need to cut back and replace with straight joints, bend and pipe. That's what I would do.
You could ask a local plumber as would take a about 15mins to fix, so worth getting a price although easy enough for you to do with basic DIY skills.

Another option is buy some stixall mastic black.
Dry off with paper towel and run that over. I'd expect that to last then get pipe replaced on next service.

Thanks is there any way to break the bond, or do I have to hack the pipe out? If so if there a coupling for re-joining the straight section I can use? I'm guessing I'd try and find a long pipe and an elbow, rather than trying to fit them separately (as done here)?

you could try using a hair dryer to heat and melt the glue holding fitting together

I didn't think there is any way to break bond. Pipe would take boiling water for short periods no problem. Think it's rated at 90c.

Cut out and replace or temporarily mastic

DIY stores have racking with fittings you can go play with
