A very large home improvement company in our area did an installation i've just checked. They re-wired a kicthen and bathroom. The earth wire on the recessed spots in bathroom were cut off, meaning no earth continuity and therefore no loop impedance. Surely earth continuity should of been 1st test they carried out???
After further investigation, there is no earth wire in the cable supplying the lighting circuit, just a phase n neutral. Should they of connected to this circuit if there was no earth protecting it???
Should i report them to NICEIC?
