Does anyone install Legrand Salamandre trunking?

You mean that despite how much it costs it doesn't come pre-drilled?

That's outrageous.

And don't try and tell me it's for when you've cut it to length - look at the photos, there's no way someone has just gone through that with a hacksaw....

A full length is pre drilled at both ends. This template is for when you've cut it to length

When I was a lad, you would cut the joiner from an offcut of trunking.

it's all good and well as long as the stupid couplers have been bent right..
we had some that were bent slightly out so even the pre-drilled holes only just managed to get the screw in..

My free cutting and drilling jig arrived this morning. Well chuffed :D

I am considering a purchase in this area, sofar I am all makita 110v, But was tempted by the 99 special dewalt at screwfix. Not so much now

They can afford to sell DeWalt that cheap for a reason

I personally think you can't go wrong with makita. I've got a 24V SDS drill, a 230V belt sander, a 110V jigsaw, a petrol 'sthil' saw, a 1/4" 230V router. My drill gets heavy trade use every day of the week, and is still going strong after three years. The rest gets light trade / very heavy DIY use, and never had a problem yet :D
