People find comfort in a lot of things and lots of different beliefs. Theist/deist/pantheist...doesn't mean any of them are any more real.

My IDEAL would not having anything more important than the sanctity of human life. If we all except this is all we have it much less likely people will kill eachother over the hope of an afterlife.
