Does it matter the amount of spline on Bristan Monza Cartridge?

I was looking for some compatible cartridges and some sites list 28 spline and some have the cartridge and shows as 20 spline.

Would both work fine as both are listed as being compatible?

Nope, the tap head/lever wouldn't usually fit on the shaft if it wasn't the same number of splines.
