Does the forum insert affiliate info into eBay links?

Just wondered, any time an eBay link is posted the posting seems to eventually acquire a footnote that it contains links for which DIYn will be paid?

I also note that any time anyone mentions a certain hardware store with a name similar to Screfix, the name becomes a link - also for post-purchase kickback?
