Does this roof contain asbestos?

It looks like it contains cement but possibly asbestos also?
Its currently lined on top with a plastic sheet which has been screwed into the original garage roof yet it still leaks.

I'm thinking of removing the plastic and sealing/painting the original roof

How old are the sheets?
They could be cement fibre sheets if relatively new.
Asbestos was banned in 1993(ish)but was used from the 30s til 80s(mainly in the 60s)
