The customer complained that her daughter had put up no less than 6 fittings & they had all "exploded", so they called us out to work out why.

Clue: this was how I found the connections & the light fitting was wired across the R/G terminal and black, with the fitting's cpc in the terminal block with the other red conductor...

Looks alright to me.
She put sleeving over the cpc's, must have been cheap bulbs.
