Hi all. I know to most this will be logical, but without having access to thirty feet long water supply pipes, I wish to know.....
"if the water supply pipes are not connected, can I still test a washing machine in spin mode? I have tried but the machine does not appear to have power, though I have checked the plug/socket/fuse"
Sorry.

Quite possibly not. My washer dryer won't start any cycle (even a drying cycle) unless it senses water pressure at the inlet.

No pressure = programme light accepting programme and door locking but programme not starting until pressure detected.

Could you not modify a hosepipe so that it can be connected to the threaded connector at the inlet to the machine?

Regards

Fred

Thanks for the reply Fred, I am getting no lights and I thought it may show. So just need confirmation, hopefully, that nothing will work without water pressure.
I'll wait for a while before sorting out a hose.

for information it is a Beko WMB 10W, but the question relates to washing machines in general.
Cheers
