Domestic infra red wall heater WITHOUT pullcord - any ideas?

Hi ricicle

Thanks for taking the time to check. I like the heaters, but I think a bit out of clients price range!

I didn't realise that about infra red heaters - do'h... it was a long time ago that I studied physics can't you tell!

The other option then would be a fan heater, but I'm not sure that this would provide such 'quick' heat (the heaters are located over the sinks). The toilets aren't used for that long so I would think that by the time the fan heaters have kicked in and raised the room temp, everyone will be gone.....

Any thoughts?

That's very interesting. So in your opinion fan heaters would be the most suitable and effective way to heat in this situation? But something chunky like this?

Rather than what the budget is pitched at...

There are infra red heaters there at the moment - so I rather foolishly assumed that someone had worked out that these were the right things to install.... However, all the pull cords are knackered, which is why I wanted to by pass them.

Me thinks I need to go back to the client and see if they were happy with their performance when they were working... they didn't mention anything when I went to look at the job - just that the cords needed to be by passed

Thanks again for taking time to reply
