I wan to put a door on my external cellar. The current door is all buckled and warped.

I was wanting to manufacture a door out of 25mm exterior grade ply and reuse the gate style hinges from the old door.

Will it buckle and warp or will it be okay once coated with primer and gloss.

you would be better off knocking a door together from tongue and grooved boards and make it a ledged and braced door.

ply is not ideal for doors (and 25mm exterior grade is v expensive), but if you have a bit to use up then i would use three gate hinges attached to 3 timber battens the full width of the door
