Hi all,
Some people know them as door jigs, some, no doubt by something else, but how do you support a door when your planing it?

I'm tempted to make something -just like this ...

I've seem some which are basically the two side blocks on a piece of arched spring steel. When the door is dropped in, the weight pushes down and causes the blocks to grip the door.

thanks guys - in the end I just picked up some rubbish 5x3 18" lengths and cut 40mm slots into 3 of them.

With some wedges - the door was held perfectly and planed to perfection.
