Hi all,
Back again for some more of your sage advice!
Spotted water leaking under the back door threshold (in the middle of a full house refurb and spotting things as I go) and noticed that the interior floor and exterior step levels are the same. There is no threshold, sill or weatherbar other than that useless bit of chrome you can see in the attached pictures.
Now the thing is we are planning to lay slabs on the step which will raise it by a further 50mm or so.
What is the best way to fix this please? We are on a budget so we are looking to do a watertight job now and look at this again properly in the next couple of years or so. This door will never be used as we have bifold a in the extension. Should have bricked it and banged a window in before it was plastered!
Thanks very much in advance.
Ryan
