Really stuck on this issue and need some decent advice.

We are installing a new dormer on the back of our house. Previous 60s dormer was too cold and flimsy.

Window fitter has installed new windows yesterday and I am not sure the top looks right. When the plasterboard is in place the top of the window will be above the ceiling.

Is this right? Any advice hugely appreciated.

Looks ok to me. Looks like there might be some more brandering to go up onto beams and then plasterboard will butt up against plastic frame of window.

You can't have a roof bearing on a plastic window! That's your first problem.

How is the roof being ventilated?
