I need to replace the washer on my WC double flush valve.
As you can see I have removed the cartridge successfully
I’ve look carefully but it’s not marked with the name of the manufacturer so I don’t know who to contact to order the correct replacement washer.
The OD of the washer is about 3”.
Also I wonder what the procedure is to replace the washer.
Does it unscrew?
Do you prise it off somewhat like a bike road tyre?
Grateful to receive the advice and guidance from forum members.

It should be softish/pliable rubber/silicone. It will pull off the plastic part.

Then you can measure/compare with the selection from one supplier, above. There are other suppliers.

It's possible someone can confirm the make - but there's a few out there that look similar.

Thanks Rodder53 for the link.
I’ve checked it out.
Yipes! So many washers. So little time
It would be really helpful if someone could identify the make.

Alternative is to replace the whole valve mechanism... e.g. https://www.screwfix.com/p/flomasta-2-dual-flush-valve/198pw or something like that.

Much more difficult than searching online for a mechanism that looks the same or taking the removed item to a proper plumbers merchant or two for an ID and even a suitably sized flush washer to replace it with.

If your time is more valuable, then engage a plumber to come and fix it. Not DIY but sometimes needs must.
