Double Glazing seal unit fitting

Hi every one
A mate has had double glazing fitted. I noticed that they have fitted the glass from the outside securing it with the pvc bead. I mentioned that what was to stop anyone of popping off the bead and removing the glass
Any Regs on fitting the glass. I live in Scotland

You'll probably find with it being ext beaded the glass is bedded on security tape, a very sticky double sided foam tape, even with the beads out the glass is stuck in place, although i do know of a way to remove the glass but i'm not telling

Other systems used are security clips, these are screwed into the inside of the frame and the glass clip over them locking it in place, again these can be bypassed but you need to be inside to do it.

Wedge gasket is another one, this is normally used in conjunction with a security bead, this shuffles in and out and is locked in when the wedge gasket is pushed in in between the glass and frame on the inside.

But in any case, whats your mate doing having ext beaded windows fitted, thought they went out with the ark?
