We need a double socket putting in a room downstairs.We have solid floors and therefore boards cannot come up.Electrician says we need to run a feeder from upstairs involving lifting carpets.is this the simplist way or can something be done with the sockets already in the room. Help!!

possibly something could be run from the sockets in the same room but im presuming your spark was registered with a scheme????
if so he will have a better idea than us because he's seen the house and will have a better idea of the layout.
