With hindsight, we now know that the deal we signed is not working for NI. It may be workable, but not in the current form that the EU are choosing to implement it.

You may be right about Brexit, but its garbage about the NIP being the best way to protect the good friday agreement.

Oh they didn't work on Concord and other things as well with us? Why is their state owned company building us a reactor?
We could have done Airbus and Eurofighter all on our own? Also space related aspect and several other areas were we are still contributing? They all bring work in.

Brexit was caused by Boris and Co plus the ERG and several people who are rather rich.

They have been. The problem is that we aren't in and just like all "countries" they want a boarder just like we do.
The UK want a boarder that consists of nothing. A none boarder and will make all sort of noises to gain support and try and get it. The probem then is all countries have boarders. The EU just happens to be a group of them. Maybe we should chuck ours as well.

But were we not aware of the Irish issues or we just wanted control over every border but Ireland.
We made the problem! Boris sorted brexit and signed accordingly.
Or are we now saying we didnt actually get brexit done ?
This is what we voted for, whether we like it or not. No point blaming anybody but ourselves.

Thankfully we knew what brexit meant when we voted!

The Brexiteers wanted strong borders to be enforced for their own benefit, but borderless traffic when it suited them.
It was pointed out ad infinitum but dismissed as 'project fear"
I don't see why they won't just admit that they messed up and fix it by negotiation.
I don't blame the EU for digging in their heels and following the rules SET BY the UK.

It's the agreement that both the EU and the UK signed up to, and is being implemented as written...
Next thing you know brexiteers will be admitting 'in hindsight brexit is not working'
They are not choosing anything. It's implemented as agreed, Negotiated by Boris and for some strange reason very similar to an earlier suggestion from the EU that the UK rejected.. It's finished up with NI being both in and out of the EU market.

The funny thing really is the lot in power still feeling the need to feed the public with misleading info to appear in the news. THe DUP is a little more understandable - what's happened, 3 parties have received significant votes - loosing popularity so bang the drums again. Over time it may make them even less popular.
