Hi

I'm going to install downlights in a fairly narrow hallway, so I planned to have a line of them in the middle. Unfortunately, there is a plastic water pipe (central heating I think) running down the middle too. I have checked whether the downlights will fit under this pipe, and they do fit, although there is then not much space between the top of the downlights and the pipe. The downlights are led. Is there any problem installing them under the pipe?

Thanks for any replies!

How much is "not much space"?
What clearances do the makers state in their instructions?
Not much space is about 2cm. I can't see anything about clearance in the instructions.
