just had new downlights fitted but the electrician fitted all new bulbs too which with the old ones i have 3, only one was working with was fine as it was bright enough with my other lighting, my question is it ok to disconnect the bulbs but leave them in the fitting as if i remove them they leave an unsightly gap, is it safe to do this?
