Hi, im new to the forum, I have been looking on here to see if anyone may have had the same sort of issues that I have had but cannot find one so decided to start my own thread,
Right the issue that I have starts from buying a house that I thought was all well and good after having a extension completed a few year pervious, by the pervious owner (never again!)
My main problem with the house is where the previous owner had started the block work he has set the DCP level too high so now when it rains and the step for the back door becomes wet the water travels through the bricks under the DPC and is making the slap in the main room wet. This has caused my renovation plans to come to a stop because I getting frustrated that I cannot go any further at the moment, and cannot afford to go spending £££'s here there and ever were hoping that it can be cured, could do with some advice for how to fix it once and or all!!

Sorry I babbled on just really frustrated with it now :(
