Our lovely former owners did some (assuming) DIY work on the extension. This involved replacing a door with a floor to ceiling window.

In doing so, they also poured another 50mm of screed on top of the original floor slab to bring it level with rest of the living room.

This pour has breached the DPM and DPC around this new window.

I've managed to take back an area of this new pour and exposed the edge of the old DPM and brickwork in the window opening.

How can I add a local additional DPM that has good continuity with the polythene one of the original build? I'm currently thinking a bitumen based liquid type, but would like this confirmed.

(pics to come)

Cheers,
Fubar.
