Hi All,

Firsty sorry if this is in the wrong section but wasn't quite sure where to start with this one.

I've just moved into a house and have noticed that 2 drain holes along the side of the house look a little bit broken/out of alignment.

There isn't any signs of blockage or any foul smells etc and pouring water down the drains to my untrained eye it all appears to be flowing normally without backing up but the fact that both drains look like they've moved/broken is bothering me a bit. there is another smaller drain further up which looks fine. I've attached some photos, 1 of the drains does look a bit worse than the other.

Probably difficult but does anyone have any suggestions? there is Damp on one wall that backs onto one of the drains so I highly suspect this might be the cause.

Both are broken, possibly due to ground movement. Not much you can do other than replace. Dig out the existing Gullies, trace the outgoing drain, choose a suitable point to split a joint/cut the pipe and replace with plastic. Make good any surrounding finish.
