Drainge depth in garden

Hi,

I need to take a drainge pipe for wc to the outhouse.

I currently have a inspection chamber in the back garden and will extend off that, but the worry is that the depth is around 45 cm which mean if i take the connection off it, about another 12 meters im not sure if the low depth from ground level will be safe to walk on.

The garden will be turffed. Please advise

If the ground is perfectly level you would be very shallow at the building end if you lay it at 1/40 fall. It would be safe to walk on and there are many drains with less than 1/40 that work just fine.

1/40 is ideal in reality 1/60 works no problems, it'll work with shallower gradients but you need to take greater care to avoid a "dip".
Drain should be protected as dia 11

The work may need Building Regs if the outhouse is not an exempt building.
