First post virigin here so be kind..........
We recently moved house and i am taking the chance to replace the old rads whilst decorating. I've taken off the rad in the first room i'm doing and got a new one to put up with new lockshield and thermostat valves.
When i took the rad off the water was pretty black so i thought i'd take the chance to use a sludge remover then drain down the system and refill it using an inhibitor.
I have trawled around the web (what did we do before the web
) and found a number of 'How To's' for draining down CH systems and am happy to take it on. However, given that i have little or no plumbing experience am i biting off more than i can chew here?
Thoughts?
Thanks
Paul
