Drayton SCR installation

I am looking to change my current Siemens RDJ10RF for a Drayton Digistat +3RF Room Thermostat. However, I am struggling to understand how to wire the SCR for the Drayton. I have 3 wires coming from my boiler system which go into the Siemens model - live, neutral and call. Obviously I know where the live and neutral go into the SCR, but I am not sure about the call wire. The SCR has ports 1, 2 and 3 - it looks like 2 isn't used, but what about 1 and 3. Am I meant to have 4 wires instead, will I not be able to wire the Drayton SCR with just the 3?
Any help would be great!
