As you know they're fun to drill :(

Need to make a few holes for taps and waste so i need a >15mm and >1 1/4inch for waste.
Looked on screwfix i see Ceramic diamond tile drills for about £50 + arbor. Ouch. Is that the cheapest i can buy them for?

I drilled through some ceramic tiles not so long ago with just a £60 Bosch drilldriver and some standard masonry drill bits. Worked a treat.

What's with the sad face? :?

Sad face was because they're not fun at all!!

Anyway, thanks for the reply people. Fyi out of all places i found some 'diamond coated' drills for ceramic tiles @ BnQ on sunday. They were only like £9 each for a 22 and 45mm drills. So even if they only last a few holes, cheaper than £90 each for the proper ones.

Yes I saw that B&Q have started doing them just about four times the price of the same thing from hong kong
