Hi,

Hope someone can help. Just painted a room and removed the radiator. Have just rehung the radiator and reattached but now have a slow drip coming between the radiator and the valve lock, but not on the side where it meets the thermostatic valve.

My plan is to drain the radiator and reattach but would appreciate if anyone has any ideas why it appears to be on the radiator side not the thermostatic valve side.

Apologise for the in technical language and thanks for any help in advance.

Kind Regards,

Ross

Danfoss use hard olives and tight threads on their valves...applying a bit of hawk white compound or equivalent to the threads and a smear around the olive will probably allow further tightening.
