Dripping tap - how to remove this cartridge?

hi all, I have well water which is quite hard and often has particulates in the water.
My kitchen tap is less than a year old and has started dripping really badly. I was hoping I could at least clean it out before fitting a whole house filter.

Snag is, I’ve got to this stage and can’t figure what I need to do to remove the cartridge. I feel like it needs the brass piece removing, but can’t see how it comes out. Any ideas welcome!

That steel shroud should unscrew and let you into the brass ring behind it, unscrew that ring and the cartridge should pull out.
