drips from flue

Yes agree biasis says install horizontal but this is for flue of less than 1 metre because they use 1 and half degree fall which is twenty five mm over a metre. But also says if one or more extensions are used the flue must be fitted at this angle its entire length.

Many flues on condensing boilers do drip even though the flue runs back to the boiler. We try and fit vertical plume control flues and terminate them in an elbow at 45 degrees facing upwards, so the any drips that accumulate at the flue tip fall back into the boiler condensate trap. also iadel to fit between toe close house walls, you can angle the flue away from the opposite wall.
