Has any Android fan worked out how, on JB 4.2.2, you can text details of a calendar appointment to a mobile?

I'm on 4.1.2 and I can hold my finger on the event, then use "share by" and choose messaging.


Can you do this?

No. Intuitively, I tried to do just that. Instead it offered to insert a new event in the same time slot.

I have 4.2.2 as well, SS, and have been trying to do the same. I can't find any such option. Perhaps it was removed with the updated Android.

If I needed to I suppose I'd just write a message, although I agree it would be more convenient to just forward the calendar event.
