Hello all , i have a dry roof system on a new build house that is rendered , when i first moved in there was a problem of water running down the gable ends staining the walls , i got them eventually to repair or install (might have been left out ) a hidden gully that collects water before running over . This seem to cure the marking of the walls problem , but i still have dripping from the edgeing tile between where each tile overlaps and this drips onto the window cills so you can imagine this when you trying to sleep . my question is that i would like a second opinion as to wether the roof is installed correctly , so is there a specialist type roof surveyor or do i get a general building surveyor to do a report . thanks in advance .
Howy .

Why can I see the screws on the dry verge? Should it not be fitted bottom up, hiding the screws?

hi bilabong , i havnt a clue perhaps a proffessional will tell us if its correct . Howy

I don't use those unless the customer insists, in my opinion they are rubbish
and those have not been fitted correctly or you wouldn't have that muck running
down the walls.

Hi cat lad , do you mean you wouldn't fit the end caps , also I guess it would be a major job to alter to something else , I think what annoys me is that there is no soffit / overhang .
Who do you think I could get second opinion from would it be normal surveyour !
Cheers howy .
