dry Stone walling

Hello all
I live in bristol trying to find who sells the stone, the uneven shape, sort of hand size, sort of like slate, don't know what they call it.. would anyone in bristol know anywhere????
Or what they actually call this stone.????

You could try Bowland Stone in Crews Hole, or maybe Stone Supplies in PAtchway, but generally a lot of the stone companies will deliver reasonably far afeild. We recently did a stone house and the stuff came down from Oxfordshire. The rep bought samples out free of charge....worth shopping on the net, unless you only want a tiny bit, then someone like Ben's Reclamation would do the trick.
