I am replacing a metal back box with a drylining plastic back box - due to relocating the light switch. Wiring is fine all works but where do I wire the Earth (previously wired to metal box) Do I need a new switch :?

If the light switch is plastic then all you need do is sleeve the CPC/earth wire with green and yellow sleeving and then put a single terminal block on the end. Obviously if there are multiple earth wires then you should connect them all together in the same terminal block.

If you have a metal faceplate / switch there is an earth point and this MUST be used.

If plastic, per previous post !
