Dual Tec Motion Sensor

Hi Guys,

I'm looking to update my PIR's and would like 2 new dual tecs, they would be in a through lounge approx 15m metres apart.

I've seen a few types on ebay from Honeywell, what ones do you recommend?
We don't have any pets

Do they face each other ? If so fit Optex mx40 they won't cross talk , I believe there are issues with the Honeywell dt's at the moment so would avoid
Not had any issues with the Pyronix dt's or the texecom units

Been using Risco I Wise detectors for years and not had any problems.

I was recommended "quad" pirs. Never had a false alarm yet in over 2 years. dual techs are for garages and conservatory apparently.

I've not had any issues with the Honeywell. Anything specific Mark? Is it only overlapping Doppler ?

Was told in my local ADI they where having issues with the Honeywell dt's having seen a pile of them thrown on a bench ....that's all I know
