Dulux Non Drip Gloss (water based)

I have used this paint and my better half does not like color.
She now wishes to have oil based gloss.
Must I rub down with sandpaper, wipe down and repaint with the oil based gloss.

Any guidance or help will be greatly appreciated.

Yes , good rub down , undercoat and top coat , rubbing down lightly between coats

Oil based gloss is far superior to water based gloss
