Dulux weathershield painted in the rain!!

Hi forum,

I hired a tradesman to restore and paint a Balustrade.

When it came to the painting, he put a
Weathershield Exterior Stabilising Primer
which he let dry for 1 day.

then applied the dulux weathershield exterior paint on top.

Unfortunately the day he painted the final coat, it ended up raining all evening.

Upon waking up, a lot of the top surface, the paint had washed away.

I asked the tradesman to come back and make good the job, though I have concerns that because the final coat got wet, I'm wondering if this will affect the longevity of the painting.

Is there anything I should get the builder to do, to correct the original painting job...

Shouldnt make any difference once it is dry, I assume this is a concrete balustrade and using Masonry paint.
Just a rub down to get the loose off and the pit marks of the rain and make sure it is going to be a dry day. At this time of year I would have thought he would have stipulated "Weathershield all seasons " to be on the safe side.
Are you going to come to an arrangement about the new costing of the job or will he have to forego any payment for the job ?
