Hi,
Anyone out there know why my previously working duraspeed twim impeller shower pump might now be running for a very short period and then stopping? The watr still comes through the shower head, but the pump has stopped?

It's always about the same time ?

thought maybe overheating, but does not seem likely as it has worked in situ for years and just started doing it (lasts about 2 mins now)

Thanks

Matjosjen, please note 5 your title has been edited

Clean the filters out, you can find them in the inlet adapter couplings

Don't forget to isolate the water first

Thanks.

Does that mean the flow control switch on the pcb or the reed switch on the H or C exit pipes?

Are they easy to replace?

Thanks Again.

Cleaned out the hot water filter on the hot inlet.
reset the pump (in case of overheating) as per the documentation

Remembers: (Had a water softener fitted 3 months ago)

Never tried it but the read switch may want adjusting/replacing.

water softener shouldn't make any difference

dont think you can replace them on this model as its a sealed unit and in any case probably easier to replace pump as its only about £100 to buy :?

Thats cheap Gaz about 160quid I thought. Read switches are listed as spares so would assume you can buy newens

i get them from Travis for £100 plus vat i know cause i brought one last week

your probably right they just dont look very serviceable

If you want to get replacement switches then look for reed switches as you will not find read switches anywhere.
