My DC01 needed a new hose so I got one from dyson, and I cannot pursuade it to latch properly into the body of the cleaner. Found something on their web site which I can't find now (probably because they no longer sell DC01 spares) which said 'use a tool' - but with no mention of what that tool might be or how to use it...
Does anyone know how I can get the wretched thing latched, so it doesn't keep pulling out? The cleaner is fine otherwise.
