Does anyone here agree that these grants are unfair and monopolised. Could we as sole traders conest and win the right to offer and supply these grants under fair trades.

good idea

but that argument didnt was with CORGI of Gas safe's monopolising did it?

:)

we can use the 300 pound grants, but not the lucrative 3500 pound grants.WHY?

there was an online petition for this linked here a while back. Unfortunately very few people signed it including some of the people on here supporting it
its basically a scam as everyone is aware, but if people can't even be bothered to fill out an online form what hope is there.

If i get chance, i may contact the office of fair trade for advice.
That would be a complete waste of time as nobody is doing anything illegal.

Yes, it is a complete scam; the price is outrageous for what they do (like for like change with a 300 quid boiler charged at 3 grand, and allegedly done in a day).

No, not a snowflake's chance in hell that we ever get into this gravytrain.
There have been thousands of official complaints, excesses are regularly exposed in the media and all that has happened is that the name of the company changed.

I am completely convinced that there are some high level political interests involved along the lines of the pm's brother being the big shot at EDF, and the identity card scam where David Blunket is filling his pockets.

And don't forget you don't get the full 300 quid either they keep 50 quid for administration fees.

Bunch of Thieves the lot of em, and it must go right back to the crooked politicians that have very deep pockets stuffed with Our money.

Get tough on crime   They would need to build another prison just for the Mp's.

Does anybody know why the subsidy was raised from £2700 to £3500 when the installation (boiler, small materials, plus the wages for the subbie who does all the work) is less than £1000?

Got to be something similar to Jacqui Smith claiming £500 a night for her sister's bedroom.
