Why would the EFLI test trip an RCD ( I have trip-lock)? I have tested my tester against a previously tested system to check the instrument (which is fine).
Any thoughts would be appreciated.
Is it an electronic RCD? What make of tester? I have heard of problems with D-Lock testers and some electronic RCDs such as those found in a majority of RCBOs.
Yes it was three leads, a Fluke 1652 tester. As I said it was tested against my brothers board which has an RCD.
Very certain it was not an electronic RCD on failed test.
