Where is the RCD protection for that CU and all the SWAs given that it is all a TT system?

Bit of a crap place to put a rod - also missing its "electrical safety connection do not remove" tag.

Tails from henley to CU look a bit small too.

It this installation providing an exported earth to the cabins, or are they all TT'd locally as well? That doesn't negate the need for RCD protection at the supply origin, I'm just interested.

Can't see rod and there are some really good earths taken from rods I worked at Point of Ayr gas terminal which connected to boards earth vie a resistor and had it's own earths rod and back-up generator and it's earth system was likely better than boards!

So need for RCD protection is more linked to earth fault loop impedance than on if TT or TN supply.

With metal buildings the earth can be very good.

are ye blind man? 8)
it's in at least 3 of the pics..

bottom left about 2/3 of the way across in the second pic, bottom right hand corner of the third. and middle right of the fourth..

What are you waffling on about ?

A slightly different scenario to a single rod stuck in the floor inside a room.

I have yet to come across a TT system which doesn't need RCD protection.
If you can tie down and the the Ze below 1 ohm then it might be possible but for reliability sake I still wouldn't trust it.

Can be equally bad tho.
