Earthing the Kitchen Sink

There was some question of creating parallel earth paths by supp bonding pipes & sinks only in kitchens & that was deemed potentially more dangerous that not bothing at all.

In a bathroom, ALL pipes etc & cpc's are bonded together, thus the difference.

In certain Commercial kitchens, bonding may be carried out if the installation designer deems it necessary.
