eastbourne pier

most of you will remember that my local pier had a serious fire on it.
well a lot of the locals decided to do a fund raiser,
and i assume the pier was insured?
and after a visit from the pm he gave 2m quid to the council for the refurb of it.

well a couple of months ago a local business owner bought it,and from what ive heard started to ask questions on where the money is?

well today our local paper has revealed the results,
funny how a new restaurant on the wish tower benefits the pier,
but hey ho im sure the council knows better then me on how to spend money,

politicians are great at missleading people
as statement like "we will spend 2m on the pier and local eastbourne"
mean money will be spent
it will come from loans/investment/be financed by
local funds/central funds/private finace/investors
it will be spent over a vast amount off projects over several years
in other words what seems like a 2m promise from central funds can mean no money at all just words to mislead to manipulate as they do
