Echo on phone line

Hello,

Sometime when i receive calls, there is an echo on the line, how do you get rid off it.

Does not tend to do it if i ringout.

Using BT Studio 1500 Quad handset

try a normal phone for say a week, if no echo it must be the phone, if echo it must be the line

Echo on phone lines is very common. Some phones are better than others at causing less echo but you will normally always get some echo on a line.
Phones have circuitry in them to detect and remove any echo.

I would do as the other poster suggested and try another phone. If thats ok then it is probably the echo canceller in your phone which is faulty
