Economical heating

we have a flat which is solely electric...can anyone suggest the most economical way of heating it? ...(e.g oil radiators etc)

Do you own the property if so I have fitted on several occasions the amptec electric boilers, They are just work just like gas ones, ie wet system ,the people that i have fitted them for have said that the electric consumption is not as bad as they were expecting and they work very well heating the radiators up very quickly, and are controllable unlike storage heaters
 
we own the flat but, of course not the "block"....that is certaainly an option which we will investigate...many thanks

if your talking local control rather than timed 3 kw thermostat fan heaters must be a good contender quickest possible heating of any space with the least waste of energy
but not if your going to have more than 2 running in seperate areas at once :D :D ;)

electric is always usualy the most expensive even with night tarrife
