warmstart and the heat exchanger getting drained a bit when the cold is turned on? ( pressure drop? ).
surely there's a one way valve built in to stop that though?

can we let the OP come back with an answer, b4 we give him possible solutions, at best he should be posting into Agile`s Combustion Chamber.

for all we know he could be a slum landlord, installing his gas appliances into his property`s

or he could be an RGI looking for advice

or he could have gotten the gas put in by a pro and done the rest himself..

there's no law to say that a homeowner can't put in a boiler and central heating system all but the gas..
in fact as far as I'm aware, there's no law to stop him doing the gas himself as long as it's not for profit.. ( yes I know that he'd need all the test equipment etc and that his home insurance wouldn't pay out if it burnt down or blew up due to him DIY'ing a gas install.. )
and no, I don't think it's a good idea for a homeowner to do his own gas...

your opinion is valid, after all it is an internet forum,carry on and tell kaisar how to fix his " in warranty " boiler.

any RGI would have called in the boiler manufacturer by now, because of the boiler fault.

kaisar can not do this........
